John Sanders

I have over 20 years experience as a journalist, copywriter, editor and translator, specialising in business, insurance and reinsurance, IT, government policy and writing for charities. Over the years, I have written about subjects as diverse as climate change, childcare and VOIP and interviewed everyone from FTSE-100 CEOs and government ministers to armed robbers and Braille producers.

John Sanders

From 1986 to 1998 I worked in London for Reuters, the international news agency, mainly as a print journalist, but also doing some radio work. I am an experienced news and features writer, specialising in producing high quality work to short deadlines.

Since going freelance in 1998, my clients include FTSE-100 companies such as Aviva and Unilever, global broker Aon and French insurer AXA. In Wales, I have worked for the Welsh Assembly Government, the Welsh Development Agency, Corporate Wales and RNIB Cymru.

I write regularly about the Lloyd's insurance market and for several business and finance publications. I also edit and contribute to a variety of corporate and charity magazines and newsletters.

As for my early years, I was born in Cornwall and completed my school education in South Wales. I studied German, French and Business at Liverpool Polytechnic (now John Moore's University) and at Dijon and Rheims Universities in France and the University of Siegen in Germany. I graduated with an honours degree in 1979. I now live and work in Cardiff.
