Writing tips
Here are 10 ideas to make writing easier and more effective:
1) Plan a start, middle and ending.
2) Never start with the view from your window.
3) Always think of your audience.
4) Keep sentences and paragraphs short.
5) Use short words too.
6) Value your verbs.
7) Beware pesky adjectives.
8) Remember -- most writers spend more time editing than writing.
9) At the end of the day, do everything you possibly can to avoid clichés.
10) If you want people to spend their time reading what you write, then you owe it to them to spend time working on your words.
